This is the video that I just submitted to the expo mentioned above. The expo will be in Tacoma, and I plan on attending if possible. It's basically a compilation of some of my favorite shots, plus some new ones. Enjoy!
UPDATE: The video was given an "Honorable Mention" at the 2010 Tacoma Dive and Travel Expo!

Easter diving at Rosario Beach, WA
I went diving yesterday at Rosario beach again, and got some of the best pictures I've taken so far. It's not too much of a stretch to say this considering most of the time I'm filming rather than taking pictures (a lot of the pictures I post are also just frames from videos I take). Pictures are nice because of the higher resolution though, and I try to take them when taking video is more of a challenge due to water conditions (surf, surge, waves etc). I didn't get much video this time around, but I'll incorporate some of the footage into the next video I make when I have enough to make a decent one.
Here are some of my favorite pictures:

You can visit my web album of all the pictures (including the not-so-good ones) from this dive here.

I went on this dive on 2/6/10. Great dive! Watch for the big lingcod and the macro footage at the end. The song I used is called "Hairy Trees" by Goldfrapp. To me, it sounds like the music was influenced by the sounds of bubbles underwater... it's really cool! Also, make sure you watch this video in HD for the full effect, especially toward the end. I know it runs a couple minutes too long on a black screen, but it took me a while to get this finished so I'll fix that later. Finally got the HD feature to work mostly right with youtube. Enjoy!

Crab Fest 2009!
Visibility was awful! It was still a really fun dive. Who knew picking up crabs could be so much fun? Side note: Most of these crabs got thrown back safely, as clearly not all of them were legal to take. Enjoy!

Langley Tire Reef, November 2009
The video for this one didn't upload properly; it's supposed to be widescreen, but youtube thinks it's full screen. Either way, it still works.

Rosario Beach, WA
This is the first video with my new camera, the Canon Powershot SD780 IS. It can take film in 720P HD, and has a really nice Macro video setting. I also got an Ikelite hard case for it so I can take it to any depth I can go! This is my favorite video so far.
